Original structure built in 1853 and reconstructed in 1900. Decorated in 1990.
The colour scheme for this church was intended to enhance it’s architectural features by highlighting the vaulted ribs. To accent the height, the rose colour is graduated beginning with the darkest shade in the carpet and column bases and ending with the lightest shade in the vaulted ceiling. The alter as the focal point is achieved with the deeper rose of the sanctuary.
A soft white tone subtly highlights the columns and accentuates the graceful ribs and moldings. The scheme is completed with pale green and cream, deep rose along with touches of gold leaf on the ornamental embellishments.
